Join friends and colleagues for a low-key morning of hiking in one of Los Angeles's most renowned outdoor spaces. Griffith Park, also known as the "Central Park of Los Angeles" comprises over 4210 acres of rugged land that forms the backdrop for numerous movie adventures in the great outdoors, 2011's busiest destination for on-location filming in L.A.. Together, we will explore the Griffith Observatory Loop, which includes spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Observatory among other sights. After the hike is over, we will meet for lunch at the Trails Café. Sunscreen and adequate water is recommended. We will meet directly at Trails, which is only a short distance from the trailhead. Street parking is available near the restaurant and nearby around the Fern Dell Picnic Area.
