Democracy Under Siege - Money, Media and Morals

Are we the people being heard in today's political maelstrom? Join us as we explore threats to our democracy and discuss how to reclaim our voices as citizens of the United States.

Our speakers are:
Dr. Randall Balmer, Chair, Religion Department, Dartmouth College - on the influence of religion in politics

John Bonifaz, J. D., Executive Director, Free Speech for People - on the influence of money in politics

Stephen Fuzesi, Director, Words without Borders and former vice president, chief counsel and secretary of Newsweek, Inc. - on the influence of the media in politics

Dr. Hahrie Han, Assistant Professor in the Social Sciences, Wellesley College - on citizen participation and activism

The seminar is presented by alumnae of the Seven Sister colleges and members of the American Association of University Women.
