Our rum tasting at Porter/Contemporary was a sold out success, so we're doing it again in an even larger space. Join us for a very special cocktail party at the wonderful Casa de Costa! We will be treated to delightful beverages, appetizers and an exhibit. Weather permitting we'll be out on the rooftime soaking up the marvelous spring air, but there is plenty of room in the gallery in case of those May showers.

Many thanks to our host, Jason Costa of the NYU LGBTQ Alumni Network! Casa de Costa is an art studio that works with visual artists from around the world. The studio gallery occupies the penthouse and rooftop garden of a pre-war building on historic Stone Street in Lower Manhattan. In an art market that is saturated with white-box galleries, Casa de Costa brings a fresh voice and offers a truly unique setting in which to experience provocative and entertaining work. El Dorado Rum will be serving special cocktails along with their sipping rums! The El Dorado Family of Rum continues a centuries old Caribbean tradition of crafting exquisite aged Rum for a drinking audience all over the world. Stills nearly two centuries old turn sugar cane grown on the alluvial coast of the Demerara River, Guyana into unique Rum expressions that are aged under a tropical climate in American Bourbon and Whiskey barrels, reconnecting the world to the beauty of artisan crafted sugar cane spirits.
