Bull in a China Shop--Bryna Turner's '12 acclaimed play about MHC President Mary Woolley and her partner, Professor Jeannette Marks--is coming to Chicago! The play debuted last spring at Lincoln Center to rave reviews. It was a New York Times Critic's Pick and received 4 stars from Time Out New York. The story--which spans decades of the early 20th century--covers not only Woolley and Marks' relationship, but MHC history (or rather herstory), the women's suffrage movement, and international politics. It is taken directly from Woolley and Marks' letters, all preserved in the College's Archives and Special Collections. Check out the Alumnae Quarterly's interview with Bryna.
