  • 05 Mar 2011
  • 4:30 PM
  • Northampton, MA

Meet up with MHLP member Ann Belanger at 4:30 at Paul & Elizabeth's Restaurant in Northampton, and then walk over to the Academy of Music to enjoy social hour and a movie!

RSVP to Ann at annmbelanger@verizon.net so that she can make reservations or arrangements to meet up with you at the theater if you are skipping the dinner portion of the evening. You are strongly urged to buy your movie ticket online before the event, since they do tend to sell out.

Out for Reel's movie this month is:

When Night Is Falling - Uncensored Version

WNIF Kiss From Behind
Saturday, March 5, 7 pm (social hour 6-7 pm)
Academy of Music Theatre, Northampton

Combo Film + Party $17 /$11 Film Advance/$14 Door/$9 Students

We are reclaiming a beautiful lesbian film from homophobic censorship on this very special night. Canadian filmmaker Patricia Rozema fought hard to not censor When Night Is Falling in order to win approval from the American film ratings board. However she did not win.

Censored since 1995, When Night Is Falling is about two women from different walks of life who unexpectedly fall passionately in love. The cinematography is outstanding, the story is compelling, and the love scenes between the women are some of the most aesthetically beautiful love scenes ever filmed. See it on the big screen in its uncensored, original version.

Screening with Donkey Girl, an award-winning, evocative short film about first love between two teen girls.
