The Broad is a contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. The Broad is home to the 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is among the most prominent holdings of postwar and contemporary art worldwide, and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement. The 120,000-square-foot building features two floors of gallery space.
Tickets are free and you can get your ticket in advance. Tickets are released online on the first of every month for the following month, and are often fully booked. So to get your January 20th ticket, it is advised to get it online beginning December 1st. If you don’t get your ticket online you may also go to the onsite standby line on January 20th. Tickets in the onsite standby line are first-come, first-served. We will meet at 10am when the museum opens. If you need to stand in the standby line to get your ticket, it is recommended to get there early so that you can get your ticket and enter with the group at 10am.
Afterwards, those who are interested will go to lunch at a nearby eatery. Come join us and enjoy a day at the museum with a great group of people!
