Are you a bike enthusiast, or just bike curious? Either way, join us for a morning ride on the beach path.

We'll start at Daniel's bike rental shop (in Fisherman's Village) where you can rent a bike if you don't have one. (You'll need a photo ID and a credit card to rent. Rental rate for either a hybrid or a road bike is $9/hour or $28 for the day and includes a helmet and a lock). If you bring your own bike, please also remember to bring a helmet and a bike lock.

We'll ride about 10 miles to Hermosa Beach where we'll stop and have brunch as a group. Then we'll ride back. The ride will be mostly flat, and we'll go at a casual pace. Keep in mind that the ride will be around one hour each way, so you should be comfortable with that distance...

In addition to your biking gear, please bring water, money for brunch, layers (beach weather can go from cool to warm pretty quickly!) and don't forget the sunscreen!

And we'll be LEAVING the bike rental place by 9:20, so if you need to rent, please be sure to get there early enough to arrange it so you can leave on time with the rest of the group.

PARKING: There's free public parking at Dock 52 (13509 Fiji Way), or if you rent from Daniel's, they'll give you 2 hours free in their lot (with validation).

Look forward to seeing you all there!
