A Day at the Derby Grab your biggest hat, your snazziest seersucker, and your sweetest tooth...you're invited to Kentucky Derby 143 with Tamar Westphal Events! Join us for mint juleps, gourmet bites, betting, raffles, great prizes, and more! Whether you live for "the most exciting two minutes in sports" or reclining with a glass of bourbon is more your speed, you won't want to miss out.
When: Saturday, May 6th, 3:30-6:30pm Where: The historic Donohue Building Annex (727 S Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60605) Who: Hosted by Tamar Westphal Events (founded and run by a queer Mount Holyoke alumna); everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets: $35 early-bird; $40 regular.
Admission includes: Open bar, heavy hors d'oeuvres, delicious desserts, betting and raffle opportunities, great prizes, and more. Attire: Whatever makes you feel dashing and dazzling. Hats encouraged but by no means required.
