All Out Ramble among Foliage Colors: An Intercollegiate Ivy LGBTQ Picnic and Hike,
Boston, MA

WHEN: 12 pm to 4pm, Saturday Oct. 20, 2012. Peak of fall foliage in Boston area. If it rains then next day Sunday Oct. 21 (if Sunday also rains then cancel).

WHERE: Meet by the Parkman Bandstand at Boston Common. Look for people with name tags!

COST: No cover.

WHAT: Join us for picnic and/or the ramble. Bring a packed lunch to picnic from 12-1pm. There are plenty of takeout places in nearby Chinatown, Theater District, Newbury Street, Boylston Street, and Charles Street. We will leave at 1pm to take a nice stroll from the Common. Start hiking up then down Beacon Hill to take the foot bridge near the junction of Charles Street and Cambridge Street. Meander along the water starting from the Community Boating Center along the Esplanade, all the way to Mass Av, then take the reverse route back to the Gardens. We will take frequent water/snack breaks along the way.

All Out is a series of events that bring together Boston area Ivy League LGBTQA alumni groups. We invite all of our LGBTQA friends (and all their nice friends) from Ivy League and Seven Sisters schools, Little Ivies, Public Ivies, MIT, NYU, Tufts and Stanford Alumni, faculty, staff, and students are welcome for this event.

Directions to venue: Boston Commons is right in front of the Massachusetts State House. It is framed by Charles Street, Boylston Street, Tremont Street, Park Street, and Beacon Street.

By MBTA:
- Green Line to Boylston Station, or Park Street station
- Red Line to Park Street station

By Car:
- Street parking may be available. Read signs and regulations carefully to avoid tickets.
- Garage parking available at Boston Common Parking Garage on Charles Street between Boston Common and Boston Public Garden.
