WHERE: Meet at Mt. Baldy Ski Lifts parking lot or carpool from Santa Monica or Pasadena

Earn bragging rights by hiking to the highest point in the San Gabriel Range and LA County--10,064 feet! Ever wonder about that snow-capped peak in the distance as you drive east down the freeway? That's Mount Baldy! With the help of a chairlift, you can reach the sweeping views from the summit in just a couple of (reasonably strenuous) hiking hours. After the hike, reward yourself with beer and food from the Top of the Notch Restaurant at 8000 feet elevation.
